Dont know if anyone else does this but I dont "flea" mine over winter. The little beggars seem to be dormant during cold weather. I stop applying from about november til about march and I have never had a problem with mine.

We are also the same it would be just a waste of money.

Incidently, it seems that er indoors uses Frontline for the cat,..I didnt know this, but she said that some dogs get a bad reaction to it,.. anyone come across that before

I know you cant put dog flea treatment on cats it is fatal is that what you mean?

I use frontline but Combo not spot on as the combo kills any beasties where ever they may hide in bedding and such

Yes I get cat frontline combo for cats and dog frontline combo for dogs

We use Advocate as it treats lung worm as well as fleas and ticks..

Same as sami , we don`t use frontline in the winter , just to give them a break really , never up to now had a problem ,although cass had her first tic of the year a couple of days ago , on the top of her head so will start the frontline again as it does kill tics
