Yeh I suppose
 I have Bonnies name on hers with my mobie num but I have a new phone now so need a new tag.... think ill just put me surname on it. Like you say its a precaution against loads of issues. I just never really saw the harm in it as like I said, if they gona take your woofer it wont matter if they know its name  but I guess prevention is always best

I dont think it is a good idea to have the dogs name on the I.D,..if you happen to see your dog out with someone else, you can at least call it, it will respond to you,..if the Police ask the `other` person to call it my name it will not respond
Our tag have OUR name and telephone number, and mention that this dog is chipped

I just got Diesel a new one from Merry Dogs - really really pleased with it.
The engraving is so good and will last. He hasn't got his name on it - he has my house number, post code, telephone number and "I am chipped" on one side and on the other it says "1% Wolf 99% Fluff" I thought it suited him lol!
