It's so nice to hear that Dragonlady - I never thought a forum could be such a big part of my life to be honest, but it's invaluable for seeking advice.

Arden Grange is not available in a lot of shops which is annoying....I either get mine from the local Animal Welfare Trust or a pet supermarket about 25 mins away.

lovegsd forum life is and will be a big part of my life, especially since George was diagnosed, I was hurting so much, you would not believe this strong GSDOWNER cried most nights wondering would the best thing for George was to be PTS, I found other forums unhelpful I was being told over and over again "you have a wonderful dog get on with it"

Till mygermanshepherd was launched........pmsl I was talking to Pam the other night and I think I freaked her out when I said she was my mentor, she has guided me, advised me, made me changed how to look after George and omg her help has helped me and lol she knows it...he is still fat tho, but he is a dog again.

I think when you find the right people the right forum to offer advice to, you feel comfortable posting in..................that is what makes a great cyberspace

I think of you as my friends not as a pixsol behind my monitor

It's great to hear that you've genuinely found this forum of great comfort during such a hard time, I can't begin to imagine how distressing it must have been to find out George has HD, it would rip my world apart if I was told the same about Diesel but I know now I could turn to people who would understand and care. As a first time GSD owner I really value what all you guys think and appreciate the honest and open advice you give. I consider everyone on here as my friends too and I love it It absolutely made my day when you asked me to be Moderator...it meant a lot so thank you again.....oh and yes I do love a mission

he is fine on the new food so now we just have to watch and see if he puts the weight on. he has came out of his shell quite a bit tho before the food change.
