I love rats, I have a giant one and 9 fancys.
years ago somebody brought a young wild rat that her cat attacked, I drip fed it baby food and eventually its wounds healed and it (she) lived out her life quite happily with my own rats, she was sweet and affectionate.

I belive wild rats are just a victim of their births, given an opportunity, as my little one was, they are no different from pet rats.

Jubillee, as I called her allowed me to bathe her and feed her, she was just another little life, I believe all life if precious.
