A very tired Ben and Ice.


After a move from his bed to the settee, Ben is back in the land of nod.


And Ice has joined him.

ah bless them, whats the story on his neck had he been wearing a collar too small before he was rescued or is it allergies

Pam, Ben does have allergies, but I have often wondered if a collar was worn on him which was too tight before he was rescued .
I generally wear a check chain on him as it does not seem to make his neck flare up. If I wear a half check it will make the bald patch he has on the back of his neck flare up, the same if I wear an ordinary collar on him, his full neck will flare up and the front especially becomes all red and weepy looking.

My Alfe used to get large bald patches on his neck - weeping sores although it was his allergies that triggered it it was his scratching that caused the baldness and sores, eventualy i got it under control and his fur grew back - perhaps leather is one of the thinks your lad is allergic to
