Few more pics - Yogi, Zak and Rip the collie

Just a few quick shots taken today at home.

I was pleased with Zak today, as after a couple of walks and a bit of recall training (hence the long line ) and introducing him to last year's pet lambs (he was a little bit frightened of them ) we met up with a friend and her two dogs (a GSD and an ESS) in the woods this afternoon. Zak is such a sensible boy for 8 months old and was happy to mingle with my friend's dogs. He did get a bit worried when a Kerry Blue Terrier shot over to him in the carpark afterwards, but I think he did brilliantly considering I have only had him for 48 hours.

Anyway, enough waffling - here are the pics (and I was so pleased to see Yogi and he playing happily )

Thanks everyone. It is blooming cold Caryll and started to snow a bit more on our evening walk last night, but it rained in the night and so some of the snow has disappeared.

Stuart - Zak has settled in brilliantly. I was a little anxious to see how Yogi would get on with Zak, as he can be a bit of a bully with some other male dogs, but after a bit of initial posturing and a wee bit of growling (which we quickly stopped) he has been absolutely fine Really proud and pleased with him. Flame is 10 years old now and a bit of a grump with the other dogs, so she has told Zak off a couple of times, but it is nothing serious and he doesn't seem bothered.

Thankfully all the working pack have taken to him with no bother at all too.

Really pleased all round.
