Here are some (not so good) photos of skye and two of my friends dog's whilst on a walk last week, when first meeting skye was very unsure and ran away from the male (kibble) 90%of the time he approached, she got on very well the female and got better and more confident with the male further on in the walk
I was just wondering if any of you on here can help me interpret her body language from the photos i got, we are on another walk together tomorrow morning so if these pictures aren't the best i will get some more of them from the front.
On this one skye is at the back, to the left we have the female 18months old called Miley, and to the right we have the male 4 years old Kibble
Close up of the female miley from the same photo.
Close up of the male kibble from the same photo.
Close up of Skye from the same photo.
This photo shows them all, somewhat walking in sync, i presume that as skye is at the back, she is bottom of the pack!

Hard to say from two stills, In the first i would say Skye is cautious but confident watching kibble bate Milly with his prize stick.
In the second i think she is still viewing the game but with more confidence and beginning to join in, who knows what her place is in the pack, think a little more time together to try and judge that.

I tend to agree,.. there is not negitive signs being shown by any dog,..if either of these were mine I would be happy with the meeting, Skye is not the bottom of the pack,..that has not had time to be sorted,..she is just a little shy,..the best way to be in my opinion, I would rather see my dog approch and join in slowly than barge in and cause a problem

I agree she was quite unsure of both dog's at first, tbh kibble's manners weren't the best, running up to skye and being quite boisterous. But she just stayed out the way for a bit and soon joined in, must admit i was ever so proud of her :P
So i thank you for your observation on the not so good pictures :P I'l bother you all tomorrow when i'v tried getting better shots or who knows i might push the boat out and catch a video!
