I live 5 minutes from The New Forest and 8 minutes walk to the sea, but nothing beats lakes and mountains. My brother lived in Edinburgh for 20 years so I did visit Scotland quite often. He has moved back down south now but I think he wishes he was back in Scotland. I also have family in North Wales so I get to visit Snowdonia every year - which is possibly where I will end up moving to when the children leave full time education.
