That would be aces, I had searched ALOT of sites, probably just a case of not getting in early enough to be honest!
We go away each Christmas, usually jsut a weekend befoer the actual day, and rent a cottage or similar using either English Country Cottages, or Cottages 4 you, and they are usually really good, but being August (when we wanted to go) and I was looking in July, think I probably asked for trouble really! We're going away for the whole Christmas week this year, got what looks to be a fantastic house on Exmoor, Devon, in the middle of farm land, no other houses about, my idea of heaven!

I think a dog friendly accomodation thread would be a good idea, always nice to share good experiences and go on recommendations....
Christmas away sounds lovely, and it is nice to have a complete cut off from everyone and everything....
