Charlie, the camera I have now, is very good, it takes very good photos, as you can see from my photos,..it is a Nikon coolpix7600..... but there is one major, major fault with them, there is a very annoying delay between the time you press the button, to the time it takes the shot,.. hence you see all my photos are basicly still shots,... and I want ACTION shots,... for me to get action shots I need to know they are going to jump before they do

So any good camers that gives me an instant reation to the time I press the shutter button will do very nicely,... Allison is scouring ebay as I write,... we missed one this morning

Nikon cameras are great but i got fed up with my d40x and have a canon eos500d now and its superb but here are some great action shots i got of Rio with nikon so it gives u idea of how capable they are

always been a hobbie of mine for yrs now stu i love photography with a passion tbh u could have a real average camera but its how u use it u know!! ask sarah she will agree with me on that one its how u use the tool to ur advantage all in the eye.............
