Any ideas on worming your cats.

MY JERRY IS SO CLEVER I CAN NOT GET A WORMING TABLET DOWN HIM , I CRUSH IT AND PUT IT INTO TUNA (NO GO ) THE VET EVEN SAID MIX IT INTO BUTTER AND PUT IT ONTO HIS WHISKERS SO HE HAS TO LICK IT OFF ( no go ) SO ANY OTHER IDEAS AS I AM WASTING SO MANY DRONTAL WORMERS IN THE PROCESS AND I JUST FEEL LIKE STICKING WITH THE WORMS.

GobbySchäferhund is a jewel in the rough
I found that just by opening their mouth putting it in, then hold the mouth shut why rubbing their neck (Adams apple if they have one lol), they are then inclined to swallow, Just a thought

Good luck

I've chucked a whole tablet down my mother in laws cats throat. Not sure what type it was, but it wasn't huge. Flick it in, close the mouth rub the throat and hey presto!! Failing that, do they do it in liquid form?

Sami has her pils in a lump of spam but the little madam has now started to nibble off all the spam around the pills and just leaves a pile of them on the floor!!!

My kitty had one in the form of neck drops, I'm sorry I can't remember the name, if you like I can ring up the vets and find out for you?

I have always done the same thing with every dog or cat I have ever had, and its never failed to work,.... get a lump of butter and fold the tablet into the middle,...it slips down the throat, and I doubt they even know they have taken it
