Horses

Introducing my 2 scamps:

Tilly (grey) and Fidley (brown). I've had Tilly 4 years and she's 9 yrs old but such a scallywag. She used to escape from her field so when you arrived at the yard you were playing hide-and-seek. She loves to gallop on the beach and last week a greyhound joined us for a run.
Fidley - I've had for a year, she's 4 yr old, not yet ridden and was feral when I first got her. She ran off if you tried to pat her. She now comes over for scratches.

Thanks all. I think their gorgeous too, (but then I am biased).
Wolfe - what breeds did you have? Tilly is a highland and Fidley is a New Forest (she was born on the new forest before coming to Scotland as a 6 monTH old).

LANEY - Tilly does get in a strop and will march away from the other horses to go paddling. This day, she went to roll with me on her back and I managed to keep her upright although she started splashing. I think

Gorgeous horses

I've just put my weekly riding lessons on hold for a short time so I can concentrate on bringing Otto on. I've got a soft spot for Fell ponies though. I rode my favourite one, Bob, this week. He gets bored quite quickly then will do a little buck & canter around the school so you have to be one step ahead of him

I nearly cried when I left him on Thursday I will be back though

I personally had a beautiful golden Palomino who I had a black western saddle for and used for trail riding. We also had a Standard Bred that used to be a sulky horse we had an English saddle for.

When I was in my early teens I also worked on a horse ranch in my area.
