Sky

Here's a few pics of Sky our Birman cat. She's just turned 1 and we've had her about 7 months now. We initially weren't sure how Ciara would be with her but she's been absolutely perfect. She's a bit of a pushover though and let's Sky lie on her bed and even takes over her toys for Sky to play with. Sky is pretty aloof and thinks Ciara is a bit annoying. She likes nothing more than to sit on top of her cat tree just out of Ciara's sniffing reach!

Aww isn't she lovely, I often think about getting a cat but would worry how Bonnie would be with one x

I felt the same about Ciara, tried for about 6 months to persuade my mum to change her mind about getting a kitten but she was determined. We introduced them slowly and gave each a blanket with the other's scent on. It was actually quite a while before we braved her on the floor with Ciara but I think by that point she had realised she was not for eating

Tedsmum will become famous soon enough
Ahh!
You can tell who rules the roost in your house, look at that arrogant cat laying there with her pet dog.
Just love it when they get on together, mine are the same.
When we brough Ted home we had 4 cats and he had to get used to them but they were disgusted at us for bringing this stinky puppy into the house.
They are best of pals now but unfortunately we only have 2 left.
I have a passion for Siamese and frankly they are a bit like dogs anyway.
Sky is beautiful.

Thanks Haha I know what you both mean about that 4th photo, I would bet my life that Ciara is watching Sky from the corner of her other eye! (if possible!)

Haha that first line made me laugh out loud! So true! Aw do you have any pics of your cats on here? I didn't even see this bit of the forum for ages! I like Siamese too.

There are some really friendly cats where I live who are very affectionate, unfortunately Sky is not one of them. Don't get me wrong, she's lovely, but she is so independent! I was looking after her while my family went away for a week. When my mum got back she came to say hello to Sky who just turned the other way and walked off to her cat tree, talk about rude .
