Gunnar And Jumbo
meet Gunnar..he is a old man age 22.. he is a resue..he was very skinny when he arrived here few months back





And meet Jumbo...we have had him for a month now..he is 13 years old and the sweetest boy ever..he has had a bit unluck in his life and had many homes

Beautiful.
I too love horses, I have never had one.
I don't know enough about them, and also we have no land, so I wouldn't be able to keep my beady eye on them 100%
Horses seem to spend their lives going for home to home. jmo.
Maybe it's a done thing, but with me a pet/companion is with me for life.
So, I love to hear a good story about a beautiful horse getting a good home.

Jumbo`s colour in the mane is not a common colour...he is a cross bred horse..the minute I saw him I fell in love, and decided to buy him.. he travelled 11 hours on a trailor to get here, and he settled in in two minutes... so everything was right.

Gunnar has a different story...I saw him as a rescue horse, and felt so sorry for the lad. U could count his ribs from a distance of 10 meters...if he had been were he was for a month or two longer he would have died.. I gave them a phonecall about Gunnar and he had got a new home they said to me....and after a few days they phoned me back and asked me if I wanted him, a part of me said said yes and a part of me had doubts.. but I followed my heart instead of the brain..took him home and gave him the rigth food..and in a month people asked me if it was the same horse.

It took him awhile for him to trust me, he kept running away when he saw me so I just put the food down and stepped back while he ate it, and slowly went towards him...no he is my best friend.
