Moronic Owner!

I have to vent....lol.....Me & OH took the boys out yesterday to a park near his parents as we were due to visit them for his Dad's birthday, we were enjoying a nice walk when we could see this SBT sniffing around a lampost. We decided to walk really wide as we couldn't see an owner, when the dog spots my two and comes charging over. The owner then shot up and started running, so we knew this dog could be a problem. We instantly recalled ours to us, OH had Diesel who was in a sit and I had Oscar in a sit watching me with his back to the dog.

She went over to Diesel, sniffed and seemed fine, she then came over to Oscar (who still hadn't even looked at her) and promptly went for him Poor Oscar was rolled over with this fecking dog on top of him, Diesel jumped in to defend Oscar. OH shouted 'enough' Diesel stopped and we were able to grab Oscar out from underneath this dog. The owner finally managed to grab her, he was full of apologies before telling us 'oh she's just come into season' FFS.

We checked Oscar over as he did with his dog, no signs of marks and we went to the in-laws, only to see once we'd got home and taken Oscar's collar off that he had a small puncture wound on his neck and wounds on his face, all were in the brindle part so it wasn't obvious. I was absolutely fuming!!!!!!!!!!!

My poor boy didn't deserve that, he hadn't even looked at this dog!!!

Awwwwwwwwwpoor baby I just don't f'n believe it

WTF is the matter with people

I for one would welcome with open arms a law that said all dogs on leads in public places except designated dog walking areas then if you choose to avoid morons you can do, you can have a pleasant SAFE walk in the park OR you can risk the dog walking areas if you want to

Simples!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big hug for both boys Lynn + for you too, shakes you up doesn't it xxxxxxx

Ohh poor oscar. It makes you mad doesnt it. Why oh why do these morons insist on having their dog off lead if they know its agressive and they have no control over it.

I was ranting at my friend the other day saying that the next time mine got attacked I was going to whack the flippin owner over the head with my stick not the flippin dog!!!

Thanks hun, it just really angered me cos he could clearly see us approaching it's a massive open field and yet he just chose to keep his dog off lead and allow her to approach us. She's lucky that Diesel didn't really go for her!

If I see him again he is going to get a gob full, my council estate roots will be out

Luckily Oscar is ok and the wounds weren't bad, hugs gratefully appreciated hun...xxx

That was what angered me the most, he knew his dog wasn't good and yet allowed her to charge us, even after seeing us walk away and recall our two.

I think you're right, the owners need the bloody whack not the dog
