Great, jack is very springy!!! Oh what it is to be loved by our puppies, makes all the bruises and scratches you get from the greeting worth while.

Oh he is loverly!!! reminds me of zebedee My OH absolutely loves standard Poodles.

Don't mean to hijack the thread but...if we ever venture into a two dog household (not for a few years) we would be looking at a poodle. I can see your two get on fabulously but in general do GSD's and poodles make good companions and are poodles really the sensitive souls that the books say? Not much room for sensitive souls in my noisy family of 6

thanks!!

ummm he is sensative in the fact that he hates the car and kinda goes off with the faires some times lol but he more than stands his own against ellie lol and with the general hussle bussle of life!!

on main thing u need to consider is the grooming costs as they need to be done ever 4-6 weekd really and for a standard ud be looking about £50-60 for a decent groomer!

they have been used for all sorts!!! The funny pom-pom trims originated from when they where used by the french police and they where in and out of water n suchlike to protect their joints but the coat more suitable for work.

Generally they are a failr sound temrament dog just have their quirks like some haaaate being left, a lady i work with has a minature and he cries even if she goes to the loo!! but if u get them used to it all as a baby and get them to the groomers asap like once a week for cuddles and a play (usually free) to build up their confidence in a salon environment u should be fine!

Their temprament is why they are crossed a lot!!!! but do not be fooled if there is poodle in the genes the coat will need a fair amount of work!
