Off to the vets!

I've got to take Oscar to the vets tonight, on Saturday afternoon we came back after our walk and I noticed his back paw was bleeding, upon closer inspection I could see he'd actually ripped the whole nail off his back paw He wasn't weight bearing on it either and was really quite anxious about me looking at it which is out of character cos you can generally do what you want to Osc.

We didn't walk him yesterday, he went to his Nan's whilst we walked Deez so he could get some stimulation, he is usually my shadow and will always be found on my lap but yesterday afternoon he just slept in his own bed so I know this is really hurting him.

I've booked an appointment at the vets so they can take a look and put my mind at rest, I am really worried about it getting infected but I am also concerned about how he'll be in the vets. The last time he was there he'd been bitten and again was in a lot of pain so we took him with us when Deez had to go to the vets just so he could go without having anything done and when he saw the vet he growled He's never ever been like this, the vet ignored him and gave him a treat at the end of the consult and all was well, however now I'm having to take him and they are going to want to touch his sore paw....I am going to take a muzzle just incase.

Poor lad also has another specialist appointment next week as well
