We did schutzand with gyps she gained her b.h and schutzand 1 but due to oh having heart attack we had to stop she is solid in any situation , we were gutted when we learned she had cancer , but after her ops she has never looked back, she had her check up last month and so far so good we found out her mum had the same cancer but lived till she was 14 so I am hoping gyps goes the same way

love the comments I so have been there training a nightmare at times came home in tears a few times when things went so wrong not gyps though it was me getting it wrong a old trainer always told me if you find the item that the dog loves use it no matter what it is, gyps liked her rubber crocodile, before we progressed to her ball on rope which became her training toy even now she will work like mad for her ball, but to be honest we just go through the motions now then she waits for her digestive biscuit I did find with her she never settled well indoors, she muched preffered training schutzand outside and worked a lot better but at the momment you have a teenager on your hands lol but have patience all will work out in the end take it slow if it goes wrong take a step back and start again if you see what I mean colleen

cheers colleen....

it feels like that most days i take one step forward two steps back lmao....
i totally agree with the comment about it being you and not the dog getting it wrong...i know fred is capable of doing his stuff, its just me who needs to get it right with him...lmao
im sure he will forgive me when hes older and a lot more tolerant of my mistakes lmao!!

im thinking of using his ball when we walk...see if he will heel for that...he only has that ball on his runs,he knows the minute we get to the field, his ball will come out,or frisbee if he hasnt chewed it...lol....but either of these two items are never out at home...he will carry his ball or frisbee all the way home, and drop it at the door!!....
(oops ive hijacked bettys intorduction lol)
