Darling Tabby is ill.

Good healing thoughts needed everyone!! My darling cat Tabby who had been with me for 7 years who is aged between 10 and 15 years had to be rushed to the vet this morning and we fear her kidneys are failing. We have had jabs and fluid administered but the biggest problem is that she will not eat. I am beside myself with worry as this sweet darling cat has been through so much with me. She is a foster cat that never left! She was shot with an air rifle 6 years ago and battled to get better, I vowed I would take care of her til her end. She is always quick to give a big snuggle when your down, has trained every dog on how to respect a cat (yes Colleen it was she that taught Aisha to behave with her! And she is the tabby cat that Terry made friends with!) Every child that comes to my house comes for a cuddle with the most tolerant cat ever!!

If you dont look at her mouth she still looks fine. It has come on so fast but hit so hard. Even through all the treatment today she purred and cuddled.

Really pleased as Tabby has eaten nearly a full tin of meat since last night and been outside to do business!!!!

She is refusing to leave her comfy spot on the poof with fleecy blanket and radiator right beside her but as it is FREEZING outside I will not blame her at all!!!

Hopefully Tabby can keep eating and start her pills on friday which will hopefully keep her well. Fingerscrossed really tightly, couldnt bear to lose my tabbycat who has always know when it is time for me to take a break from my work by lieing on me!!
