Hi Barney.
What a bonnie boy he looks. I love Cats, on my nineth birthday I got Snowy from the RSPCA rescue, yes, you guessed it he was white, lol.
Hope Barney settles into the family well.

Ha!!!
Would not dare go round any animal homes!!!
Even so I had a cat move in two years ago - did not really want a cat as I live in a town centre and there are too many idiots around with Staffies that would set them on cats (apart from other dangers like cars). This cat had other ideas though and waltzed through the door and made itself at home. Kept putting it back out but it just threw itself at the front door (figured Sultan would hear it, bark, and the door would open). I used to open the door and it would run in through Sultan's legs and up into the loft!!!! Eventually I gave in on the proviso that it is an indoor cat - which it is perfectly happy with. Now my front living room is for Sultan and the cat!!
I am sure Barney will soon lick you all into shape! Before you know it you will all be pandering to his will! (Including George!). Just wait for the mad half hours when Barney goes tearing round the house!

lol we already have been licked into shape, lol poor George does not know what to make of him, he has already been put in his place......Barney is lay on the top of the stairs and george at the bottom (live in 3 storey house and living room is on the second floor) cat is on second floor !!!!!!
George grew up with cats and I had cats when George first came home so I think he knows he is in for a rollarcoster ride ,
and lol I cannot wait for the mad 1/2 hr mad dash about the place, I have missed having a cat around the place and I hope they make friends xxx

Aw Joanne, you softie!!
I don't think I could go round these rescue places again cos I just can't take anymore on at the moment. Felt really bad when we left the last RSPCA centre emtpy handed and then bought a puppy. First time I have ever had a pup from 8wks, so was a novelty.
Hubby wanted to adopt a greyhound who was 6yrs, and then made me feel awful for the next year cos we didn't take her. I sometimes think how much easier she may have been lol.
I love cats too Joanne, but we couldn't have one here now with my two. If we had the cat first it would have been different I guess. When i go to my mums I have the job of grooming her Persian, and I play with him. I'm the enly one he doesn't scratch apparently. Cats seem to be naturally drawn to me, I dunno why, maybe I'm just calm and friendly LOL
Well, well done Joanne for rescuing the lil furball, he looks in good health there. Hope he and George get on OK.
