Ive found a Lump

Ive found a lump on Troy's neck its at the base and really big (like a sqaushed golf ball size!
It didnt hurt when I felt it and he is running around as normal eating drinking okay
He has a check up in the morning so im going to mention it then
I give them both a quick groom everyday and hadnt noticed it before
I just hope its nothing more than a fatty lump

Tanya is on a distinguished road
I found a lump on my oldest boys foot very recently
It turned out to be a tumor , luckily enough it was non aggressive .
My advice to antone that finds a lump on there dog is to get them down the vets asap .
Larson has had to have his digit removed and goes in for his first redressing tomorrow . He has been great and doing really well .
Im not saying this to scare you but the only real way to know what sort of lump it might be is to get them down the vets .
Hope everything goes well for him .

joyce will become famous soon enough
Could be from the needle, also it's more likely to be a sebaceous-cyst x

Sorry to hear about your boys toe Tanya and agree that the only way to find out what a lump is is by getting a vet to look at it and then get them to do a fine needle aspirate and send it off to a laboratory for them to diagnose it.

But as Troy was recently in for castration then it is probably, as Sarah says, a reaction to the injection if it is at the base of his neck by his shoulder blades (or there abouts) so try not to worry and ask them to look at it tomorrow to put your mind ant ease.
