Re the planning application for a puppy farm in Carmarthenshire.
Please write to
Jonathan Locke , Planning Department Carmarthenshire County Council, 40 Spilman Street, Carmarthen SA31 1LQor e-mail him at JGLocke@carmarthenshire.gov.uk -the planning application number is W/25841 and object to this puppy farm or alternatively write to the RSPCA (re its recent campaign) to check out this establishment and find out why a licence has been granted to breed with over 100 bitches. Closing date for objections is 10th Jan and application will probably be on the agenda in February. If anyone in the area can round up enough people to attend the council meeting to show solidarity that would be great. You can send in questions one week before the meeting but should attend to ask your question - I expect a supplementary question can be asked after the Councillor has answered the original. Check with the web site to see the application. Mr Locke thinks it will be set for Feb 2nd meeting but not sure at this stage so suggest you check with him two weeks before that date.

I can't believe with all the publicity someone would have the gall to apply for a license to breed over 100 bitches....if the council agree this it's a joke and shame on them.

This is seriously wrong and disgusting if it goes ahead!!!!!
I have been on the Council website and submitted my objections to the proposals. Hope many more do so. This CANNOT be approved!!
