If you are looking for a puppy and you aren't sure why not ask if they are free range? In other words are they kept in the home free to roam to the milk bar in comfort, free to move away to a clean area to toilet. Free to drink clean water and live with a mum who is content and happy. Surely that is the best you can ask for the dog you will be spending the next 15 years with?
Any breeders reading can you start a trend? Advertise your pups as free range! Shame the battery/prolific breeders and make your pups the most desirable thing on the page! Spread the word about the quality of pups and don't wait for your governing body to do it for you!
I have prepared this email - if you like it then copy and paste it into your outbox and email your entire address book, we have all had these chain emails come through lets start one that might help a few thousand dogs out of their squalid conditions. :winkbest:

If you are looking for a cute pup ask where they were born, how they were raised and that you want to see them in their home, if no is the answer to any of these questions then walk away - you might save that one pup but you would condem quite a few more to the same fate and poor mum is still stuck their churning them out like a vast obscene factory unit!
