I had the experience this summer of telling the Central Switchboard (may it be consigned to the bottom ring of hell) that a dog had died in the backyard of the breeder, probably because there was no water or food left on the premises and that other dogs were at risk and they took 10 weeks to attend and then reported to me that the dog found there was "in good body", I recovered him a few weeks later, 10kg underweight, severely dehydrated and used on a bitch on that day.
This experience is all too common to all of us.
What kind of welfare establishment refuses to let you speak to the man or woman who knows the territory?!
