Can you Help???

If you have any information that would help our campaign such as locations of puppy farms or people buying sick puppies from pet shops etc, do please email us. Your information will be strictly confidential but it will give us an idea of the locations we need to concentrate on. Thank you.

we bought our gsd from ponderosa kennels at allerton bywater.
she had one injection and the other we had done for her .
she is about 2 years old and was sick and had the runs when we got her .
we paid £200 for her as the donation they wanted .
it was going to be £250 but haggled them down as most seem to be a set donation of around £130 so in our first week we spent over £300 to have her chipped etc at the vets.
we had no home check done etc and i could have been anyone.
also we were told some disturbing things about the place after we got her but not sure wot to believe .
just thought i would mention as this is a dog care association registered kennels

Ponderosa warning

We went there 6 weeks ago to look at dogs and cats and ended up with an animal that survived 4 days because basically it starved to death and was in such a skeletal condition when we got it we tried every hour to get food and drink in it but to no avail. It was the worst 4 days ever and cost us an absolute arm and a leg. If you are looking for a dog go somewhere where they are chipped, neutered and vaccinated as standard. We have just picked up our new puppy from Leeds Dogs Trust. Anyone in that area go there as they have been nothing but FANTASTIC. Once you adopt the dog they support you for life. They have phoned to check she is settling in ok and the difference between the places is unbelievable. Incidentally, I have read other things on the net about Ponderosa and our vet has had other clients that have had similar situations as us from there. BE CAREFUL.

sheba was lucky and only there over night when we got her so straight to the vet with her for a check up and they told us about the kennels .
clean bill of health and shes coming on great just glad we got her before anything bad happend to her .
i would say the same as you as we had to pay for her second injection and and to get her chipped and we have to get her neutered too but shes our baby and we love her so much .
she gets the same good looking after as our kids do .
but be warned i wasnt happy with what ponderosa was chargeing i paid £200 they did want £250 but i talked them down .
they should have a set fee .
